Net fishing is the earliest method used for
collaborative fishing, operated by two
bamboo rafts or sampans at the time.
When fishing net is threw from the boat,
those on the shore will try to pull the net
up not by hands but by the force generated
through the rope tied on waist and
backward body movement. Every one
that joins the fishing, regardless of ages
and genders, is able to take one share of
the catch, so "net fishing" is also
nicknamed "bonus sharing of rope."
There is also a saying: "Every one has a
share in net fishing, and the pregnant one
takes double." |
